200g sourdough discard

200ml full cream milk

150g flour

25g grated parmesan

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

5g chopped chives

80g melted butter + more for brushing

Directions
Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl until combined to form your waffle batter.
Pre-heat waffle maker and brush plates with butter.
Use a cup measure or ladle to pour batter in to just cover the iron. Don't go overboard – it will leak out the sides!
Cook until golden and crisp - a few minutes depending on your waffle maker
Serve and enjoy!

Hot Tip: These waffles are great for freezing! Allow to cool, then pop them in a ziplock bag and into the freezer. When you’re ready to eat them, pop them straight into the toaster to heat up.
